Syrian Air Force responds to terrorist threats with massive assault
The Syrian Arab Air Force (SyAAF) sent a message to Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham this evening after the latter threatened to launch new attacks on the government-held areas in northwestern Syria.
The Syrian Air Force began their assault by heavily bombarding Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham’s positions near the towns of Saraqib and Khan Sheikhoun in rural Idlib.
Following the attacks on the terrorist positions in the aforementioned towns, the Syrian Air Force shifted their attention to Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham’s defenses near Khan Al-Sabil.
These airstrikes by the Syrian Air Force were conducted in conjunction with the Syrian Arab Army’s (SAA) heavy shelling on Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham’s positions in Ma’arat Al-Nu’man, Bdama, Khan Sheikhoun, and Al-Ta’manah.
On Wednesday, Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham threatened to conduct more deadly raids against the Syrian Arab Army in the Idlib, Hama, and Latakia governorates.
A source from the Syrian Arab Army said they will not halt their attacks until Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham and their allies withdraw from the demilitarized zone that was established during the September 17th Sochi meeting.
