Syrian armed forces kill terrorists, shoot down three drones in countryside of Idlib and Quneitra

Damascus, SANA- Units of Syrian armed forces killed several members of a terrorist group and left others wounded, along with shooting down three drones in the countryside of Idlib and Quneitra.

The Ministry of Defense said in a statement today: “A unit of armed forces operating in southern countryside of Idlib clashed with a terrorist group affiliated with the so-called Jabhat al-Nusra terrorist organization that attempted to infiltrate and attack one of Syrian military points, killing many troops and leaving others wounded.”

“One of the group members was arrested.” the statement went on to say.

Other units of our armed forces also managed to shoot down and destroy three drones belonging to terrorist groups in the countryside of Quneitra and Idlib, the ministry added.
