Syrian Army Chief Inspects Military Units & Hezbollah Troops in Qalamoun
Upon the directives of the Syrian president Bashar al-Assad, Commander-in-Chief of the army and armed forces, the army’s Chief of Staff Ali Abdullah Ayoub, visited on Wednesday the Syrian army units and Lebanese resistance along al-Qalamoun area in Damascus Countryside, SANA reported.
Major General Ayoub was briefed by field commanders and Lebanese national resistance members on the nature of the combatant operations and the successes achieved in pursuing terrorist organizations, eliminating them and establishing control over most important sites and hills in the region.
He appreciated the courage and the highly combatant skills showed by soldiers of the army and Lebanese resistance in their operations against terrorist organizations, affirming that Syria and the Lebanese resistance will remain as one hand in confronting the Zionist-US attack.
For their part, the army officers stressed that the battle of the Syrian Army and Lebanese resistance is one which aims at defeating terrorism.
Soldiers of the army and Lebanese resistance also affirmed their determination to go ahead together in confronting terrorism of the Takfiri organizations which will not affect the will of life embodied by our people throughout history.
