Syrian Army closes on the Abu Dhuhour Airport’s northern corridor – map
The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) scored another big advance in the southern countryside of the Aleppo Governorate this week, capturing several towns and hilltops from the terrorists.
Led by their 124th Brigade of the Republican Guard, the Syrian Arab Army managed to capture at least three towns from the terrorists, including the large hilltop of Tal Shaheed.
As a result of these advances, the Syrian Arab Army has closed in on the northern corridor of the Abu Dhuhour Military Airport, which was once considered impenetrable from southern Aleppo for the government.
With the airport now surrounded from its northern and southern flanks, it is very likely that this military installation will fall to the Syrian Army by the end of the month.
