Syrian army eliminated hundreds of Takfiri terrorists during military operations in the vicinity of Aleppo and Hama

Syrian military forces have reportedly eliminated hundreds of Takfiri militants as they continue their intensive counter-terrorism campaign in the region.

Syria’s state television reported on Monday that approximately 320 additional militants have been killed in the rural areas surrounding the cities of Aleppo, Idlib, and Hama.

The death toll has risen to approximately 1,300 Takfiri militants, following a coordinated effort by Syrian and Russian forces since last week. This escalation occurred as the militants attempted to re-establish their presence in northern regions of Syria.

Syrian state television has reported that joint air operations conducted by Syrian and Russian forces targeted and successfully struck gatherings of terrorists and their leaders near the al-Hamadaniah sports complex in Aleppo Province. The operation reportedly resulted in a significant number of casualties among those targeted.

According to the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA), a significant number of militants were reportedly killed and injured in joint airstrikes near the city of al-Safira, located east of Aleppo.

Syria’s *al-Thawra* newspaper reports that a group of Takfiri militants invaded the village of Zughba in the suburbs of Hama. However, the villagers mounted a defense and successfully repelled the attackers, resulting in the elimination of all the insurgents.

Syrian forces have reportedly neutralized up to 63 armored personnel carriers and various military vehicles linked to terrorist groups. In addition, they successfully downed one of the militants’ drones in an operation over Masyaf, located to the west of Hama.

On Monday, reports from multiple Syrian media sources indicated that the Chief of the General Staff of the Syrian Armed Forces, Abdul Karim Mahmoud Ibrahim, undertook a visit to northern Hama Province. This visit was conducted under the directive of President Bashar al-Assad following the successful removal of terrorist elements from the region.

In a development reported by Syrian state television, Health Minister Ahmad Damiriyah announced that Aleppo’s emergency medical services have resumed operations. The facilities had been temporarily disabled following terrorist attacks that occurred two days prior.

Earlier this week, it was reported that members of the Takfiri terrorist faction, Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS), advanced into multiple areas under government control in northern Syria, resulting in the deaths of numerous Syrian soldiers.

Subsequent reports indicated that the Syrian army successfully prevented major terrorist operations in Aleppo Province by launching a preemptive strike.

Following the Syrian military’s successful counterterrorism operations, terrorist groups and their Western allies initiated an extensive media campaign aimed at undermining the achievements of the Syrian forces. The campaign included reports claiming that Syrian troops had retreated from the countryside of Hama.

The Syrian military has refuted these allegations, characterizing them as elements of a “media war” intended to undermine Damascus’ efforts in its fight against terrorism.
