Syrian Army Gives Terrorists in Southern Damascus Last Ultimatum to Surrender
The army men continued to storm ISIL’s positions in the Southern part of Damascus province and imposed control over several farms between Hajar al-Aswad and Yalda region up to Matnazah al-Asheq and al-Bawayek regions.
Also, the Syrian Air Force pounded ISIL’s strongholds in Yarmouk Refugee Camp and Hajar al-Aswad, inflicting major losses on the terrorists.
In the meantime, the army’s artillery and missile units opened heavy fire at terrorists’ movements and positions in al-Tarboush area in Yarmouk camp.
A field source reported that the army’s advances have tightened noose on the terrorists in the region.
The source further said that the army has distributed thousands of leaflets to war the terrorsits to surrender immediately or wait for the government forces’ heavy attacks.
In a relevant development on Monday, Shadi Marwan al-Sa’ad, a senior commander of the Al-Nusra front (also known as Fatah al-Sham Front or the Levant Liberation Board), was killed in the Syrian Army operation in Yarmouk Refugee Camp.
The key Al-Nusra field commander was killed in clashes with the army men in Sahat al-Rijeh flank in Yarmouk Refugee Camp in the Southern part of Damascus province.
In the meantime, the army soldiers managed to seize control over three buildings in Zalikheh area in al-Tazamon region after beating back the ISIL terrorists from their positions.
Also, the army’s artillery and missile units and aircraft have been pounding ISIL’s positions in Yarmouk Camp and Hajar al-Aswad.
Several tunnels and trenches of the terrorists have also been destroyed in the air raids in a region between al-Tazamon and Yalda regions.
