Syrian Army, Hezbollah Continue to Advance against Terrorists in Aleppo City
Nouralddeen al-Zinki terrorist group left behind scores of dead and wounded members and retreated from more positions in the Eastern and Northern neighborhoods of Aleppo.
Meanwhile, the Syrian Armed Forces, backed by Hezbollah, continued their large-scale offensive in Southern Aleppo, targeting Jeish al-Fatah’s strongholds in Sheikh Saeed near al-Ramouseh.
The Syrian Armed Forces and Hezbollah captured several building blocks inside Sheikh Saeed, leaving a little more than half the district still under the control of Jeish al-Fatah.
On Thursday, Syrian army units in cooperation with popular forces carried out special operations against the fortified positions of the Takfiri terrorists in Bostan al-Pasha neighborhood in Aleppo city.
“The pro-government forces managed to take full control over the Sports club, its housing compound and a school in the neighborhood,” the source said.
Tens of militants were killed or injured during the operations, while the rest fled into the neighboring regions, the source added.
