Syrian Army Liberates 5 Villages in Rural Al-Hasakah
On Sunday morning, the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) – in cooperation with the National Defense Forces (NDF) – has liberated 5 villages in rural Al-Hasakah from the Islamic State of Iraq and Al-Sham (ISIS).
The SAA’s Central Command announced the complete control of Abu Sa’ad Farms (Mazra’a Abu Sa’ad), Khashafaat, Dawaariyeh, Al-Masoul, and Rad Shaqraa’; these villages are located east and south of the provincial capital of Al-Hasakah.
According to a military source, the loyalist forces killed 30 ISIS fighters during their sweep of these villages in Al-Hasakah; this list included the following identified militants: “Mustafa Ahmad Al-Hakeem”, “‘Abdel-Aziz Issam Al-Yousif”, “Nader Qusay Al-Mura’yy” (Iraqi), “Lu’ayy Badr Abu Da’oud” (IraqI), “Qassem Mohammad Al-Qassem”, “Mustafa Bashir Hammoud” (Lebanese), and “Ismaa’eel Faadi Ezz al-Deen.”
