Syrian Army on the verge of encircling the Islamist rebels at key East Ghotua town

The Syrian Arab Air Force (SAAYF) pounded the East Ghouta region of rural Damascus on Wednesday night, targeting several farms located between Al-Reyhan and Tal Kurdi.
According to an Al-Masdar correspondent, the Syrian Air Force rained heavy bombs over Jaysh Al-Islam’s (Army of Islam) positions, paving the way for the Syrian Arab Army’s 105th Brigade of the Republican Guard to attack the latter’s defenses near Al-Reyhan.
The Al-Masdar correspondent added that the Syrian Armed Forces are only 750 meters away from Al-Reyhan’s gates, which is cause for great concern for Jaysh Al-Islam, as they find themselves encircled by the government units.
Jaysh Al-Islam needs to foil this upcoming assault by the Syrian Armed Forces; if they don’t, Tal Kurdi will be completely surrounded and most likely to fall to the government in a short period of time.
