Syrian Army Wins Battles against Terrorists in Damascus Province
A military source announced that the Syrian Army has been successful in its operations against the insurgents in the strategic province of Damascus, adding hundreds of the militants were killed in the army men’s operations and dozens more were captured.
The source told FNA that the Syrian soldiers targeted gathering centers of al-Nusra Front and Jeish al-Islam in Zamalka, and killed numbers of terrorists, including Egyptian national Saeed Abu al-Tayeb.
A long convoy of the terrorists’ vehicles was also targeted and destroyed by the army artillery units near Douma, which resulted in the killing of scores of fighters, including Palestinian national Mahmoud Amreen.
Harasta’s countryside was also targeted by the army men who continued killing rebels, including the Iraqi national Amer al-Alwani.
On Monday, military sources said that a long list of the killed terrorists in the province, including foreign nationals, have been disclosed by the army’s general command.
The sources said that Lebanese terrorist Ziad Hussein Ze’iter along with Hozan Jammo, Bahaa Ed-Din al-Haji and Nizar al-Dibbes from Ahrar al-Sham group were killed in the army’s operations in Jisrin town in Damascus countryside.
Abu al-Ezz al-Etouni, Walid Nasri and Ziad Ghamam were also identified among the killed terrorists of the same group in the army men’ offensives in Htaitet al-Jarash farms, the sources added.
In the Southern part of Eastern Ghouta, the Syrian troops stormed terrorists’ concentration centers in the farms of Zibdin and Deir al-Assafir villages, killing many of their members.
Fayez Zaidan, Fadi al-Zabadani, Arif Ghaboura, Mohamed al-Hamadi, Khaled Khaddouj, Anas Sharaf Ed-Din and Zakaria Nu’man were identified among the killed terrorists in the abovementioned battlefronts.
