Syrian Army’s strikes on northern Hama kill militants, destroy bases
Terrorist positions and gatherings in northern Hama countryside came under heavy artillery and missile shelling conducted by the Syrian Army prior to the ground invasion on insurgent-held areas.
The Syrian Army units stationed in Joureen town bombed rebel fighters in Ziyarah and Masheek; leveling to the ground two buildings used by militants as headquarters, and destroying 3 technical vehicles with its crews.
In the same context, the government forces pounded a military outpost for the FSA-linked Jaish al-Izza group; killing at least 5 militants including a field commander; Abdo Imad Habib.
A military source said that Russian surveillance drones flying over rebel-controlled areas 724 are to be thanked for providing the precise coordinates, which greatly helped in carrying out accurate strikes.
