Syrian, Palestinian forces on the verge of liberating Hajar Al-Aswad
The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) and their Palestinian allies are on the verge of liberating the entire southern pocket of Hajar Al-Aswad, following the major advance they made earlier today.
As shown in the map above, the small pocket in the southern part of the map is the Hajar Al-Aswad District and the northern pocket represents the Yarmouk Camp and a small portion of northern Hajar Al-Aswad.
The Syrian Army and their Palestinian allies are planning on liberating the southern pocket before moving onto the Yarmouk Camp.
According to a military source in Damascus, once the Syrian Army liberates the southern pocket, ISIS will have no choice but to surrender the Yarmouk Camp, as they have no way of getting supplies to their besieged fighters.
