Syrian Soldiers Storm Militants’ Hideouts in Daraa
Syrian Armed Forces raided the strongholds of rebels in Daraa province on Sunday, killing and injuring scores of them.
The foreign-sponsored insurgents sustained heavy toll, as the Syrian Army made advances in Um al-Mayazen area as well as Qasr al-Bitar, al-Ghuzlan, al-Yadoudeh, and Tafas districts in Atman town.
Yehya Ibrahim Issa, Omran Mahmoud al-Hariri, Hussam al-Jawabra, Mohammad Ahmad Majarish and Mohammad Anwar were identified among the killed rebels.
Syria has been experiencing unrest since March 2011 with organized attacks by well-armed gangs and terrorists against both the army and civilians.
The unrest, which took in terrorist groups from across Europe, the Middle-East and North Africa, has transpired as one of the bloodiest conflicts in recent history.
As the foreign-backed insurgency in Syria continues without an end in sight, the US government has boosted its political and military support to Takfiri extremists.
