Syrian Speaker: Next battle will be titled the occupied Golan

The People’s Assembly on Sunday commemorated the 33rd anniversary of the landmark open strike held by the Syrian people in Golan against the Israeli occupation authorities, their attempts to annex it and impose Israeli laws and identity on them.
The Assembly Speaker Mohammad Jihad al-Laham said that Syria will not relinquish its right to restore all the occupied Golan and will not spare any efforts to restore it.
He highly appreciated the resilience and steadfastness of the Golan people in the face of the Zionist war machine and the continued attempts of the occupation forces to change the demography and geography of the Syrian Golan.
Al-Laham hailed the heroism and victories of the Syrian Arab army in the southern area against the Takfiri terrorist organizations who are backed by the West and Israel which is trying to create a “security fence” around it, affirming that the Syrian army will defeat terrorist groups and the title of the next battle will be the occupied Golan.
He asserted that the liberation battle has started and it will not stop without restoring all the occupied territories and raising the Syrian flag over them whatever the price will be.
Al-Laham said that resistance is the only choice to defeat the occupation and the colonial forces, on top of which the Israeli occupation which represents another face of the terrorism of the ISIS and Jabhat al-Nusra terrorist organization through its daily practices and violations against the people in the Golan and Palestine.
He hailed the sacrifices of the martyrs who have defended the dignity and honor of Syria, wishing a quick recovery for the injured.
