Syrian Troops Raid Rebels’ Centers in Aleppo, Homs Provinces
Syrian Armed Forces targeted gathering centers of the rebels groups in the Northern Province of Aleppo and the Central Province of Homs, killing and wounding so many fighters across the battlefields.
Militants’ strongholds in the villages of al-Owijeh, al-Manasheer, al-Shakif , in the surroundings of Deir al-Zaitoun and the East of Bashkwi in the countryside of Aleppo were targeted by the Syrian soldiers who pushed back insurgents towards far areas.
A long convoy of militants’ vehicles loaded with weapons and ammunitions was targeted by the Syrian army in the Eastern countryside of Homs, in Talbesa which resulted in the killing and wounding so many antigovernment fighters.
Syria has been the scene of insurgency since 2011 when certain western powers and their regional allies voiced loudly that Syrian protests have no diplomatic solution and they started supplying the country’s opposition groups with their arms and funds.
Since 2014, specially after victory of President Bashar al-Assad in the country’s presidential election in summer, the army has gained upper hand in its anti-terrorism campaign, and has been partly successful in sealing borders with Turkey and Jordan.
