Takfiri movements, on the verge of isolation
Ayatollah Mohsen Araki, Secretary General of the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought, in reaction to reporters attending presser for the 26th anniversary of the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought saying that topple of separatist movements is a prelude to full isolation of extremist and Takfiri groups, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
He said,” At present separatist policies are in a process of annihilation and the proof for that are quite clear in major Islamic countries from Egypt, Turkey, northern Africa, far eastern countries and also Middle Eastern states like Iraq, Lebanon and Iran.”
He hailed the unifying call by religious elites in the Islamic countries, for instance intellectuals in Al Azhar University and quoted them calling Shia and Sunni communities as two wings for Islam.
Ayatollah Araki referred to the efforts by Pakistani scholars for boosting Islamic unity and noted,” Pakistani clerics, following the Supreme Leader of Islamic Republic and in line with the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought, are calling the people to maintain solidarity and this is the ground for failure of Takfiri movements.”
Member of Iran’s Assembly of Experts expressed regret over Saudi air strike on funeral ceremony in Yemeni capital of Sana’a and said,” We are witness to massacre of the civilians in different countries as well as desecration of sanctities in Syria, Iraq, Pakistan and Afghanistan” adding that the insecurity in these regions is due to dispersion of the Muslim world.
He highlighted unity as the most important priority for the world of Islam and noted that the greatest issue in Muslim world is the intriguing strategies of the enemies who have spread across the Islamic community.
The cleric called struggle for convergence among Muslims as the greatest endeavor warning that enemies have generously financed dispersing movements which target Islamic solidarity.
Secretary General of the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought said,” The biggest, most dangerous and bloodiest invasion against the world of Islam is that against Muslim unity and a contemporary intrigue is the plot to spread hostility in the Islamic nation; hence, the greatest Jihad (struggle) is to create solidarity among Muslims and that is a mission handed to the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought.”
