Takfiris’ Motivation at Lowest Level as Hezbollah Advances in Zabadani
The morale of the Takfiri insurgents in Zabadani is low in the wake of fresh gains made by Hezbollah and the Syrian army in the southwestern city.
In an audio recording, two of the insurgents said that the number of the injured militants in Zabadani is between 180 and 190.
“The morale of the fighters here is zero. There are 180 to 190 fighters who are injured,” one of the insurgents said.
Another militant said: “I swear we are not afraid that they (the injured militants) may be killed. We are afraid that they may be captured.”
Meanwhile, the Syrian army and the Lebanese resistance forces advanced further in eastern Zabadani.
Hezbollah’s Military Media reported that the allied forces seized al-Mahattat neighborhood and the commercial bank in the east of Zabadani.
The Syrian army and Hezbollah have been since July 4 engaged in the battle of Zabadani, the last city under the control of terrorists in the Qalamoun region on the Lebanese border.
The ongoing battle is part of a wider operation launched by the Syrian forces and the resistance movement’s fighters on May 4, which has reportedly driven militants out of more than 90 percent of the territory in the mountainous region.
