Terrorists kill 102-year-old man, family in Syria
Foreign-backed terrorists have killed a 102 year-old man in a region of Syria along with his whole family.
The other victims were the elderly man’s son, his grandson, his great-granddaughter and her mother.
The killings were carried out in Hama by the terrorist group which calls itself the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL).
The area where the incident took place is said to be populated by supporters of the Syrian president Bashar al-Assad.
Anti-Assad media sources have confirmed the killings by the ISIL.
“Some members of the family were burned alive, others killed in their sleep,” the London-based so-called Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said in a statement on Sunday.
Militants usually go on such killing sprees when they get evil their hands on the supporters of the Syrian government.
Cities and towns across Syria have frequently come under bomb attacks as well as mortar and rocket fire by the foreign-backed militants since the crisis erupted in the country.
Syria has been gripped by deadly violence since March 2011. Over 160,000 people have reportedly been killed and millions displaced due to the violence fueled by the Western-backed militants.
According to reports, Western powers and their regional allies – especially Qatar, Saudi Arabia and Turkey – are supporting the militants operating inside Syria.
Syrian President Bashar al-Assad has recently said the Takfiri war in his country has strongly shifted in favor of the government forces as they have made continuous gains in their battle against terrorists.
