The inauguration ceremony for Iran’s President-elect Masoud Pezeshkian begin
Tehran, SANA-The inauguration ceremony of the new Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian began in the Iranian capital Tehran on Sunday, in the presence of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Sayyed Ali Khamenei, and a crowd of political officials and military leaders.
President Pezeshkian said in a speech during the inauguration ceremony: We must have relations based on constructive interaction with the countries of the world, particularly the Islamic countries, and we will seek to strengthen Iran’s position and international relations based on the principle of dignity.
President Pezeshkian added that the unity of the Iranian people and their leadership is what guarantees our progress towards a strong Iran.
For his part, Seyyed Khamenei stressed in his speech during the inauguration ceremony that the 14th round of elections was held in the best possible way, within a good and ethical competitive atmosphere.
He said that popular sovereignty in Iran is the result of the people’s revolution and uprising to confront past hardships and calamities.
He added that the power of the resistance is growing more and more day after day, and the Zionist entity has not been able to weak the resistance and bring it to its knees.
He went on saying that we have no hostility towards European countries, but they are not among our priorities because their policies towards us have not been good in many issues.
He highlighted that the Zionist entity is a criminal gang of murderers and terrorists and the Gaza issue has become a global issue.
