Thousands of demonstrators in Canada demand to stop aggression on Gaza

Ottawa, SANA- Thousands of demonstrators gathered in front of Canadian Parliament building in the capital, Ottawa, raising Palestinian flags and demanding to stop the Israeli aggression on Gaza Strip.

A number of Canadians, anti-war groups, trade unions, social justice organizations, Islamic, Arab, and Palestinian communities staged the demonstration, according to the AFP.

The demonstration came after presenting an electronic petition to Canadian legislators urging Canadian Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau, to press for stopping the aggression launched against the Gaza Strip.

The protesters stressed that temporary truce is not enough after the martyrdom thousands of Palestinians and destroying their infrastructure in Gaza.
