Turkish military officer has been reported killed in Syria

A Turkish military officer has been reported dead following clashes between factions supported by Turkey and the US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) in Syria.

Reports from Syrian sources indicate that a Turkish officer has been killed during clashes in the vicinity of Syria’s Tishrin Dam.

An officer and a companion were fatally struck when their vehicle came under attack from a Kornet missile.

This marks the initial report on the fatalities of Turkish soldiers amid the latest events unfolding in Syria.

For the past week, there have been ongoing clashes between the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) and factions supported by Turkey, with direct oversight from Turkish military officers.
