Two Basij members have been killed in Iran’s Saravan

Two members of the Basij paramilitary force were killed by armed assailants in Saravan County, located in Iran's Sistan and Baluchestan province, on Saturday.

According to a statement released by the public relations office of the IRGC Ground Forces Quds Base in southeast Iran, two Basij members involved in the Security Plan of the Shahid Sajjad base in Saravan were killed on Saturday. The individuals, identified as Hojjatoleslam Sadeq Mahmoudi and Milad Daman Kesh, were on their way home from work in a private vehicle when they were attacked by assailants classified as terrorist elements.

Saravan is a province situated within Sistan and Baluchestan, positioned 347 kilometers southeast of Zahedan, the provincial capital, and shares a border with Pakistan.
