Uncounted killed and injured, hundreds of cars destroyed as flash floods hit Turkey capital
Heavy floods caused by rainfall damaged hundreds of cars and several roads in the Mamak district of Ankara with uncounted people killed and injured reported yesterday.
Roads were seen partly destroyed, with damaged vehicles, some covered in mud, deserted along the streets. The first floors of dozens of homes were also affected.
Excavators and emergency services arrived at the site to help clean-up the streets. According to reports, other districts of the Turkish capital were not affected by the flooding.
