Up close footage of the Syrian Army advancing in the Humaymah area near Deir Ezzor

The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) captured several points from the Islamic State (ISIL) forces this past weekend after a rough battle with the aforementioned terrorist group in the Humaymah area.

Video footage of this advance by the Syrian Arab Army was released by Hezbollah’s official media wing today; it shows the military in close combat with the Islamic State terrorists near Humaymah.

Once the Syrian Army and their allies liberate the Humaymah area, they will have fire control over the strategic T-2 Pumping Station.

The liberation of the T-2 Pumping Station will pave the way for the Syrian military to push towards the Islamic State stronghold of Albukamal near the Iraqi border.
