US Conoco occupation base in Syria comes under attack : Exclusive

the US Conoco occupation base in Syria was targeted with multiple rockets at midnight on Monday.

In a related development, Al Mayadeen’s correspondent reported that US occupation forces stationed at the Conoco plant base launched artillery strikes on the villages of Huwaija Sakr and Al-Jafra in the Deir Ezzor countryside.

Not an isolated incident

Last Monday, Resistance factions in Syria reportedly targeted the base in northern Deir Ezzor with a number of missiles.

At the time, missiles were launched from the International coalition’s base in the Conoco field, targeting Saker Island and the eastern outskirts of Deir Ezzor, which are under the Syrian Amry’s control. No material damage was reported.

The sources noted that US occupation forces stationed at the occupied Syrian field bombarded the village of Marat, located in the Deir Ezzor countryside.

Al Mayadeen‘s correspondent stated that four civilians were injured, including a woman, while six artillery shells impacted the perimeter of the towns of Jufra and Saker Island, as a result of the US aggression.

A similar attack was reported on Saturday when Resistance factions in Syria targeted the field with two rocket-propelled grenades (RPG).

At the time, the US then targeted the Saker Island area.

US and coalition forces in Iraq and Syria have been targeted with dozens of attacks since October 2023, following the start of the Israeli war on Gaza.

The US military has some 2,500 troops deployed in Iraq and 900 in occupied territories in Syria.
