US Rights Group: Western Nations committing Genocide in Gaza
A United States-based human rights organization has condemned the United States, Israel, Canada, and several other Western nations, accusing them of committing "genocide" against the Palestinian population in the Gaza Strip.

The Lemkin Institute for Genocide Prevention issued a statement on X, formerly known as Twitter, on Sunday, denouncing what it described as “the West’s support for the genocide of Palestinians.”
The Lemkin Institute has issued a strong condemnation of Israel, European nations, Canada, and the United States, accusing them of committing acts of genocide in Gaza.
The continued large-scale loss of civilian lives, including innocent Palestinian men, women, and children in Gaza, has been described as “a moral wrong that should burden these nations indefinitely,” according to the statement.
The Lemkin Institute has declared that efforts to prevent genocide have effectively ceased in Gaza, stating that genocide has become the dominant reality in the current global landscape.
The Lemkin Institute has issued a warning, alleging that those in positions of authority are attempting to obscure the severity of the ongoing genocide, despite acknowledgments by Israeli leaders about intentions of eliminating the Palestinian population.
The report underscored the urgent need for the international community to take a decisive stand and act against those involved in the US-backed actions by Israel that are being described as genocide against the Palestinian people.
The Lemkin Institute has urged the global community to adopt decisive actions to put an end to “this endless horror from elites,” indirectly referencing prominent figures such as Trump and his affluent right-wing supporters, including Elon Musk.
In October 2023, the Lemkin Institute issued warnings that Israeli forces had initiated a campaign in the Gaza Strip that amounted to a genocidal war against the defenseless Palestinian population.
On January 21, 2025, subsequent to the second inauguration of Trump, the Lemkin Institute released a Red Flag Alert for Genocide in relation to the controversy surrounding Elon Musk’s gesture making headlines at the time.
The Lemkin Institute has asserted its firm belief that the action in question was a deliberate Nazi salute. It emphasized that individuals in positions of substantial influence, including Elon Musk, should unquestionably be held accountable for any gestures or rhetoric that may indicate an association with hate groups.
