Vicinity of US consulate in Erbil reportedly targeted

ABC News channel reported Tuesday morning, quoting the Iraqi source that eight points near the American consulate in Erbil were targeted, with some of the attacks being very intense.

The source said that three drones were shot down near Erbil Airport but he did not specify possible casualties or damage there.

According to him, the drone attack prompted the air traffic control to stop the arrival and departure of flights in Erbil.

Sky News Channel’s Arabic network says the target of the attack at Erbil International Airport was the US military base that is located on the airport premises.

Some unofficial sources have been also cited as saying that some facilities belonging to the Zionist regime in Erbil have been targeted, as well.
