VIDEO: Syrian Army pounds west Idlib countryside as assailants attack Turkish convoy
Huge explosions rocked the rebel-held town of Bidama along the borders with Turkey as the Syrian Army shelled, with heavy artillery, headquarters and positions for the jihadi insurgents.
This comes as militants launched sporadic assaults against the government troops positioned in northern Latakia countryside.
Meanwhile, a convoy for the Turkish military came under attack when 2 masked gunmen threw a grenade at one of the vehicles. No casualties reported in the attack which took place at Jisr al-Shughur highway.
According to sources, the assailants were standing at a pedestrian bridge overlooking the highway when one of them attacked the convoy with a hand grenade before hastily escaping the area.
