Vital terrorist tunnel captured by Syrian Army in east Damascus
The Syrian Army (SA) captured an important tunnel in the Al-Qaboun District of east Damascus this morning, Al-Masdar’s Majd Fahd reported from the capital city.
According to Fahd, the Syrian Arab Army’s 105th Brigade of the Republican Guard continued their field operations in Al-Qaboun, capturing several points inside this district, as they attempt to expel the jihadist rebels from the area.
Among the points captured by the 105th Brigade was Faylaq Al-Rahman’s imperative supply tunnel that stretches from Al-Qaboun to the jihadist-held town of ‘Arbeen in the East Ghouta region of Damascus.
The tunnel was used to transport ammunition, food, water, and armor to the Faylaq Al-Rahman fighters in southeast Al-Qaboun; its loss will prove devastating in the coming days. Syrian Army regains important tunnels network linking to eastern Ghouta.
