Yemen lauds the effective execution of a military operation targeting two ‘strategic’ Israeli military locations in Tel Aviv

Yemeni authorities have announced the successful execution of a military operation targeting two "strategic" military sites in Tel Aviv. The offensive was carried out using Palestine-2 hypersonic ballistic missiles, according to official statements.

In a statement released on Thursday, Brigadier General Yahya Saree, spokesperson for Yemen’s armed forces, announced that the nation’s missile forces had conducted a precision military operation. The operation involved launching two Palestine-2 hypersonic ballistic missiles, which successfully targeted two strategic Israeli military installations in Tel Aviv.

In a statement, it was reported that an operation was executed concurrently with Israeli actions targeting civilian infrastructure in Sana’a, the capital, as well as in the Hudaydah Governorate. These actions affected facilities such as power stations. The response, as the statement emphasized, was deemed a natural and legitimate reaction to the aggression.

The statement affirmed that the forces will persist in countering Israel’s “brutal aggression” by “maintaining support and targeting all hostile entities with suitable weaponry,” until the hostilities cease and the blockade on Gaza is lifted.

A projectile reportedly struck the Gush Dan area, encompassing the Tel Aviv metropolitan region, which is the largest urbanized area in the affected territories and serves as the hub for Israel’s financial and high-technology industries, according to reports from Israeli media outlets on Thursday.

In response to Israeli airstrikes on key infrastructure, including the Haziz and Dhahban power stations near Yemen’s capital, Sana’a, as well as the strategic western province of Hudaydah and the Ras Isa oil facility, a retaliatory attack was launched. These strikes resulted in multiple casualties.

Tawfiq al-Humairi, an advisor to Yemen’s Ministry of Information, has declared that Israel’s latest acts of aggression will face a decisive response. He emphasized Yemen’s readiness to counter the Israeli regime by targeting its electrical and oil infrastructure, following recent attacks that occurred early in the morning.

Al-Humairi emphasized that these acts of aggression are likely to bolster Yemen’s determination to stand in solidarity with their allies in Gaza.

In a press briefing held on Thursday, Mohammad Ali al-Houthi, a member of Yemen’s Supreme Political Council, vehemently denounced what he described as “terrorist war crimes” committed by Israeli-American forces targeting Yemeni civilian sites.

He asserted that the current Israeli-American military actions against Yemen are indicative of a wider pattern of regional violence, stressing that these measures will not deter Yemen’s dedication to backing Gaza.

Amid escalating tensions in the Gaza Strip, Yemeni forces have demonstrated their backing for Palestinian resistance by launching attacks on Israeli vessels in the Red Sea and the Bab el-Mandeb Strait. These actions underscore Yemen’s positioning in the ongoing conflict involving Israel and Gaza.

The Yemeni armed forces have initiated a series of missile and drone strikes targeting Israeli-occupied territories, with a particular emphasis on Tel Aviv. The forces have committed to persisting with these military actions in response to Israel’s ongoing operations in Gaza, highlighting a potential for heightened tensions in the area.

In October, the United States deployed B-2 stealth bombers to conduct operations in Yemen as part of efforts to assist Israeli military strategies. This initiative has since seen continued military actions against Yemen involving forces from Israel, the US, and the UK, as they seek to suppress retaliatory actions originating from Sana’a.
