Yemeni army plans to deploy advanced weaponry in operations against ‘israel’, states Information Minister
Yemen's Minister of Information has issued a stern warning to Israel, indicating that the country should brace for increased attacks on its interests. The minister emphasized that Yemen’s Armed Forces are poised to deploy more domestically-produced advanced weaponry against the Tel Aviv regime in the coming future.
Dhaifullah al-Shami, a senior Yemeni official, announced late Sunday that the Israeli regime should anticipate potential escalations, as the Yemeni Armed Forces are prepared to deploy advanced weaponry at a strategic moment.
A Yemeni military spokesperson announced the successful launch of a new hypersonic ballistic missile, which traveled approximately 2,000 kilometers from Yemen to the central region of the Israeli-occupied territories. The spokesperson underscored that no area within the occupied lands is now impervious to Yemeni strikes.
Shami emphasized that the Yemeni Armed Forces are enhancing their military prowess through hands-on experience and sustained engagements with the US-British coalition.
“Yemen has significantly advanced its military capabilities across multiple domains. According to recent statements, the nation’s domestically-produced missiles are now capable of accurately targeting and striking both mobile ground and maritime targets.”
Yemen’s information minister declared that the nation’s steadfast support for the Palestinian cause remains resolute. He emphasized that despite the ongoing aggression by Israeli forces in the Gaza Strip, Yemen will continue its operations in retaliation.
Shami further stated that the recent launch of Yemen’s hypersonic ballistic missile targeting Tel Aviv occurred merely hours after Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced an escalation of military operations against southern Lebanon.
Yemen has unequivocally rejected the notion of segmenting the fight against Israel. Yemeni forces are actively engaged in full coordination and collaboration with all segments of the Axis of Resistance, according to official sources.
In a recent statement, Shami highlighted that Yemen is currently experiencing a period characterized by freedom, dignity, and pride. He asserted that the country has emerged as a formidable voice in the opposition against imperialism.
A senior Yemeni official has issued a stark warning to Israel, cautioning of additional retaliatory actions by Yemen’s armed forces. This statement mirrors recent declarations by Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, leader of the Ansarullah resistance movement, who asserted that “future operations will be on a much greater scale.”
The Yemeni populace has openly expressed solidarity with Palestine’s resistance against Israeli occupation, following the onset of a brutal Israeli offensive on Gaza on October 7, 2023. This escalation came after Palestinian resistance factions executed Operation Al-Aqsa Storm, a surprise counterattack aimed at the occupying Israeli forces.
The Yemeni Armed Forces have declared their intention to persist with their assaults until the unremitting Israeli ground and air campaigns in Gaza cease.
To date, Israeli actions have resulted in the deaths of at least 41,206 Palestinians, predominantly women and children, and have left 95,337 others wounded, according to reports.
