Yemeni forces have launched ballistic missile strikes targeting an ‘israeli’ airport and a United States aircraft carrier
The Yemeni Armed Forces have announced the execution of additional operations targeting Israeli and US interests, as a response to perceived acts of aggression directed at the Gaza Strip and Yemen.

On Monday night, Yemeni military spokesperson Yahya Saree announced that the Yemeni missile forces launched an offensive targeting Israel’s Ben Gurion Airport, located in the occupied Yaffa region. The attack involved two ballistic missiles, specifically the Zulfiqar and the hypersonic Palestine 2 models.
He stated that the assaults were carried out in support of the Palestinians in Gaza.
Yemeni armed forces have launched an offensive targeting the US aircraft carrier Harry S. Truman and its accompanying naval vessels in the Red Sea, according to Saree. The assault reportedly involved the deployment of multiple ballistic and cruise missiles, in addition to the use of drones.
Saree has reported that a recent assault on American warships marks the second such incident within a 24-hour period.
The official stated that the operation was conducted as a direct response to perceived American aggression towards Yemen.
“The Yemeni Armed Forces have issued a call to the free peoples of the nation to uphold their religious, moral, and humanitarian responsibilities in support of the oppressed Palestinian people. They have vowed, with divine assistance, to persist in obstructing Israeli maritime navigation and striking at the heart of the occupying power until the ongoing aggression ceases and the blockade on Gaza is lifted,” a spokesperson announced.
Saree emphasized that actions against Israel will persist until the nation’s hostilities cease and the blockade of Gaza is removed.
Reports from Yemeni media indicate that, on Monday, U.S. military aircraft executed two airstrikes on the Al-Rasool Al-Azam Oncology Hospital located in the Sa’ada province.
According to the SABA news agency, citing a Yemeni security source, the most recent United States attack occurred under a week following a previous offensive involving thirteen airstrikes. This action is described as a clear breach of international and humanitarian laws.
The Cancer Control Fund in Yemen has issued a strong condemnation of the recent attack, describing it as a severe and brutal act that underscores the deep moral and humanitarian decline of those responsible.
The statement further asserted that the assault on the hospital is classified as a war crime under international legal standards.
Attributing accountability to the United States for the alleged incident, the fund has appealed to the United Nations, the World Health Organization, and the Red Cross for immediate intervention to halt the ongoing attacks on medical facilities in Yemen.
On Wednesday, the United States Central Command officially announced ongoing military operations targeting Yemen.
On March 15, the United States launched a series of airstrikes in Yemen, resulting in the deaths of 53 individuals, according to official reports.
The lethal strikes, which mark the first since US President Donald Trump assumed office, occurred following a declaration by Yemeni forces to resume operations targeting Israeli shipping as an expression of solidarity with Palestinians amid ongoing Israeli military actions.
In a significant development, the United States has unveiled intentions to bolster its military presence by dispatching a second aircraft carrier, the USS Carl Vinson, to the region.
In late 2023, the Yemeni Armed Forces initiated military operations targeting Israel, following Israel’s offensive described as genocidal by critics, which was directed against Palestinians confined in Gaza.
Following a ceasefire announced in January between Israel and Hamas, Yemeni forces had halted operations targeting vessels in the Red Sea. However, these activities resumed last week after Israel halted humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip earlier this month, violating the ceasefire agreement originally brokered by former U.S. President Donald Trump.
Over 50,000 Palestinians have reportedly lost their lives in Gaza amid ongoing hostilities that began with an extensive military operation initiated from Tel Aviv.
