Yemeni forces targeted strategic locations in ‘israel’, successfully struck a US aircraft carrier
Yemen's Armed Forces have reportedly executed successful strikes on two critical Israeli locations and an American aircraft carrier positioned near Yemen's coast. The attack compelled the aircraft carrier to retreat from the area.
In a statement delivered on Saturday, Brigadier General Yahya Saree responded to comments made by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Prime Minister Netanyahu asserted that Tel Aviv holds the “right” to recommence its ongoing military operations in Gaza, which have spanned 15 months. General Saree’s remarks were made in light of these allegations by the Israeli leader.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has claimed that the regime may initiate new military actions against the coastal region, even as the likelihood increases for a ceasefire agreement between the government and the territory’s resistance groups.
The Yemeni Armed Forces’ Missile Force has executed two military operations aimed at critical sites associated with Israel in the Umm Al-Rashrash area, located in the southern portion of what they term as occupied Palestine, according to spokesperson Saree. These operations specifically targeted the key port city of Eilat and its vicinity, positioned at the southern extremity of the disputed territories.
A spokesperson reported that the initial operation employed a Thulfiqar-type ballistic missile, while the subsequent mission was conducted using a cruise missile.
Brigadier General Yahya Saree announced that both military operations had successfully achieved their intended objectives.
A spokesperson announced that the Air Force, Missile Force, and Naval Force had collaboratively executed a military operation aimed at the American aircraft carrier USS Harry S. Truman and several escorting warships in the northern Red Sea.
He stated that the operation employed multiple drones and cruise missiles, marking the eighth assault on the carrier since its deployment in the Red Sea.
The operation effectively accomplished its goals, compelling the American vessel to withdraw from the operational theater.
United States and Israel Receive Dire Warning
The Yemeni Armed Forces have issued a stern warning to hostile entities operating in the Red Sea, cautioning against any aggressive actions towards Yemen during the ongoing ceasefire in Gaza. The military spokesperson emphasized that any such provocations will be met with robust and unparalleled military responses, with no restrictions or boundaries on the countermeasures employed.
An official stated that a series of strikes have been conducted in solidarity with the Palestinian people and their fighters, as a response to the recent atrocities committed against Palestinians in Gaza.
He highlighted the regime’s failure to halt its lethal offensive, even after the entire cabinet recently approved the agreement.
Saree stated that these operations form part of the fifth phase in the ongoing efforts of the “Promised Conquest and Holy Jihad.”
He emphasized the forces’ unwavering commitment to maintaining their strikes for as long as the regime continues its military campaign and enforces a suffocating blockade on the Palestinian territory.
In October 2023, Yemeni forces initiated operations targeting Israeli sites in solidarity with Gaza and Lebanon. This action comes in response to what is described as a genocide in Gaza and intensified aggressive actions by the Israeli government against Lebanon.
The effective strikes were both preceded and succeeded by heightened lethal aggression from the regime, accompanied by its key allies, the United States and the United Kingdom, targeting Yemeni territory.
The military forces have intensified their offensive operations by increasing strikes on Israeli and American targets. This includes attacks on United States warships and aircraft carriers stationed off the coast of Yemen.
