Yemen’s Military Announces Attacks on US Warship, Israeli-Occupied Jaffa

The Yemeni military has announced missile and drone strikes against a US warship and military sites in Israeli-occupied Jaffa.

Brigadier General Yahya Saree, the spokesperson for Yemen’s armed forces, stated early Sunday in a press release that the military had launched two operations, one against American forces and another against targets in Israeli-occupied Palestinian territories.

According to Saree, the attacks targeted several enemy warships, including the US aircraft carrier USS Harry S. Truman, in the Red Sea using missiles and drones.

Additionally, he confirmed that Yemeni forces had struck military targets in Jaffa, an Israeli-occupied area, with multiple drones. He described the operation as successful.

Saree reiterated Yemen’s commitment to continuing such operations against aggressors until all hostilities against the Palestinian people in Gaza cease.

US Conducts Airstrikes in Yemen Following Attacks

Meanwhile, news sources reported that the United States launched fresh nightly airstrikes on Yemeni soil, continuing its backing of Israel amid the ongoing genocidal war in Gaza.

Yemeni media sources stated that in the latest US strikes, the Sahar district in Saada province, northern Yemen, was targeted.

American warplanes bombed the area twice, marking another round of military escalation.

The US airstrikes on Yemen continue in reaction to the country’s stance on Gaza and its military operations against Israeli forces.

Heavy US Bombardment Targets Saada, Amran Provinces

Yemeni media outlets reported that the United States carried out sustained airstrikes on various parts of Saada and Amran provinces.

According to Al-Masirah, American warplanes launched fresh strikes on eastern Saada, hitting the area twice.

The Al-Salem district in Saada was also struck three times, while Sahar was bombed four times within a few hours.

Yemeni sources reported that the Saada province was hit 17 times in a single night, marking a sharp escalation in illegal US military operations in the region.

Additionally, the Sufyan district in Amran province, north of Sanaa, was targeted twice.

Reports confirmed that US airstrikes on Sahar continued into early Sunday, with Al-Masirah stating that the town was hit twice more, marking the fourth aerial attack on the area within hours.
