Zionist airstrikes martyr five Palestinians and cause multiple injuries amid continued military operations in the West Bank
In recent developments, Israeli air strikes and military operations across the West Bank have resulted in the deaths of at least five Palestinians, with numerous others sustaining injuries. These incidents are part of a series of escalating offensives and lethal incursions by the Israeli forces in recent weeks.

According to a report by the official Palestinian news agency WAFA, two young Palestinians were killed in Qabatiya, a town located south of Jenin, following a drone strike by Israeli forces. This information was obtained from a brief statement issued by the Ministry of Health. The incident occurred on Saturday night when an Israeli drone targeted a vehicle in the area.
The incident resulted in injuries to several pedestrians and caused damage to multiple nearby vehicles.
Local sources have identified the individuals as Saleh Zakarnah and Abdul Issam Alawneh, who have been described as members of the Qabatiya Brigade.
The Quds News Network has announced the release of Alawneh following a temporary ceasefire agreement achieved between Israel and the Hamas resistance movement in November 2023.
During a temporary ceasefire, approximately 150 Palestinian detainees, held without legal authorization in Israeli prisons, were released in a swap for 105 Israeli captives held in Gaza.
On Saturday evening, a separate Israeli drone strike in Jenin resulted in the deaths of two young individuals who were traveling on a motorcycle.
The Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS) has reported that its medical teams have successfully evacuated the bodies of the deceased from the eastern district of the city.
The individuals have been identified as Tammam al-Saadi and Nour al-Saadi, both of whom are young Palestinian men.
In the densely populated Tulkarm refugee camp, a 51-year-old man succumbed to his injuries after being shot in the chest by an Israeli sniper during a military operation.
The news agency WAFA has reported that the individual in question is Wahid Omar Wahid Madi Sabbagh.
According to reports from local sources, a news agency has stated that Sabbagh was fatally shot and left to succumb to his injuries on the floor of his home. It has been alleged that Israeli forces obstructed Palestinian Red Crescent medical personnel from providing necessary assistance.
In the most recent escalation, Israeli military operations have intensified in Tulkarm, where airstrikes and demolitions have led to the forced displacement of numerous families. Alongside these actions, Israeli forces have reportedly besieged two medical facilities: Thabet Thabet Governmental Hospital and Israa Specialized Hospital.
Tensions in the West Bank have escalated in the wake of Israel’s military operations in Gaza, which have resulted in the deaths of at least 47,487 people and left 111,588 others injured since hostilities began on October 7, 2023.
The Israeli government, unable to fulfill its wartime goals such as the “elimination” of Hamas, entered into a ceasefire agreement with the resistance group, which came into effect in Gaza on January 19.
Following the implementation of the tenuous ceasefire in Gaza, Israeli military operations have intensified in the West Bank, with a significant focus on the city of Jenin and its surrounding areas, resulting in the deaths of at least 25 Palestinians.
Over 20,000 individuals have been compelled to evacuate their residences in the camp, following the destruction of numerous homes and the excavation of roads by Israeli bulldozers.
According to the Palestinian Health Ministry, Israeli forces have been involved in operations in the West Bank since October 7, 2023, resulting in the deaths of at least 893 Palestinians and injuring over 6,700 individuals.
