Zionist assaults on Gaza result in the deaths of nearly two dozen Palestinians as the conflict intensifies

At least 22 individuals, comprising women and children, have lost their lives in recent Israeli airstrikes on the Gaza Strip, as part of an ongoing and intensely destructive conflict against the besieged Palestinian territory.

On Monday, Israeli warplanes conducted an airstrike on a residence owned by the al-Qassas family in the Nuseirat refugee camp, situated in central Gaza.

According to a report by WAFA news agency, an attack resulted in the deaths of at least 10 Palestinians and left 15 others injured.

On Monday, Israeli fighter jets executed lethal airstrikes on Gaza City’s Zeitoun and Sheikh Radwan districts, resulting in multiple fatalities.

Further airstrikes targeted the home of the Abu Shaar family in Rafah, a southern city in Gaza, resulting in the deaths of two Palestinians.

The Palestinian Civil Defense announced it had retrieved the bodies of two victims and provided assistance to numerous injured individuals in the aftermath of the Rafah strike.

On October 7, 2023, Israel launched a vigorous military campaign in Gaza following a significant operation by the Palestinian Hamas group. Hamas’s actions were described as a response to escalating aggression towards the Palestinian population.

The ongoing conflict has resulted in the deaths of 41,206 Palestinians, predominantly women and children, in Gaza, with an additional 95,337 individuals reported injured, according to recent figures.

Israel is presently facing charges of genocide related to the Gaza conflict before the International Court of Justice (ICJ).
