Zionist entity’s attacks on Syria are a violation of international law, Kanaani says

Tehran, SANA- Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Nasser Kanaani reiterated that the Zionist entity’s attacks on Syria are a violation of international law.

Speaking at his weekly press conference on Monday, Kanaani said that such actions are a threat to international peace and security in the region.

He referred to Syria’s consistent positions towards the Palestinian cause and that it is one of the most important links in the axis of resistance.

He urged the United Nations Security Council to fulfill its responsibility against the terrorist actions of the Zionist entity.

He indicated that the Zionist entity is used to spreading its internal crises beyond the borders of the occupied territories by trying to expand insecurity in the region.
