Zionist fighter jets initiate an intense series of strikes targeting locations in the eastern and southern regions of Lebanon
The zionist military has conducted airstrikes targeting locations deep within Lebanon's eastern and southern regions. This move marks the latest breach of the tenuous ceasefire agreement between Israel and Lebanon.

The National News Agency of Lebanon has confirmed that Israeli fighter jets conducted airstrikes targeting the vicinity of Taraya village situated in the Baalbek district of the Baalbek-Hermel province. Additionally, the al-Shaara region, located near Janta at the base of the eastern mountain range, was also hit in the military operations.
Israeli fighter jets conducted airstrikes in southern Lebanon, targeting the area between Jbaa and Snaya with a barrage of four missiles.
The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) have issued a statement confirming that they have conducted airstrikes, claiming that the targets were infrastructure and rocket launchers associated with the Hezbollah resistance movement.
The Israeli military conducted a strike targeting a military installation located within an underground infrastructure site in Lebanon’s Beqaa Valley, according to an official statement.
According to reports, an additional Hezbollah location equipped with rocket launchers in southern Lebanon has also been targeted in a recent strike.
Israel has consented to a ceasefire arrangement with Hezbollah after experiencing substantial setbacks throughout a nearly 14-month conflict, during which it was unable to fulfill its strategic objectives in Lebanon. The truce commenced on November 27.
Since the agreement’s inception, occupying forces have persistently conducted near-daily operations against Lebanon, effectively breaching the ceasefire with a series of airstrikes across the Arab nation.
On January 27, the Lebanese government announced an extension of the ceasefire agreement with Israel, which will now remain in effect until February 18.
As of the missed deadline on February 18, Israel continues to maintain its presence in five key regions of southern Lebanon. These areas, identified as Labbouneh, Mount Blat, Owayda Hill, Aaziyyeh, and Hammamis Hill, are strategically situated near the border.
Lebanon has condemned the continued presence of Israeli military forces, citing it as a violation of the ceasefire agreement and the agreed withdrawal schedule. Senior officials in Beirut have declared their determination to “utilize all available measures” to remove the occupying forces from Lebanese territory.
