Zionist media reports indicate significant strides in ceasefire negotiations, with the agreement perceived as a victory for Hamas

Zionist media outlets have reported on recent progress in the ongoing negotiations concerning the prisoner exchange deal, indicating that an agreement could be finalized within days.

Israeli media have reported on the recent advancements in prisoner exchange negotiations, indicating that an agreement is anticipated to be finalized shortly.

The front page of the Israeli newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth highlighted remarks from a senior political source indicating that the delegation’s negotiations in Qatar have confirmed a prisoner exchange deal could be finalized within days. This development comes as Israel gears up for this significant step ahead of US President Donald Trump’s inauguration.

In related developments, sources within the Israeli government informed Channel 12 that conditions are presently optimal for negotiating an agreement, expressing optimism that a deal could be achieved under the favorable circumstances.

I24, referencing an inside source, reported that a ceasefire announcement is anticipated to occur within days following Trump’s inauguration.

The Israeli Broadcasting Corporation, Kan, reported notable advancements in the Doha negotiations aimed at finalizing a prisoner exchange agreement. Sources indicated that key sticking points include Israel’s proposal to deport security prisoners overseas and discussions surrounding post-deal arrangements.

Kan has reported that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu perceives that Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich and Police Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir are unlikely to destabilize the government if the agreement gains approval. According to the report, both ministers are expected to endorse the deal, which in turn would mitigate opposition to it.

Kan reported that the Israeli military is contemplating extending its ground operations to additional regions of the Strip should a settlement not be reached.

In the midst of ongoing debates, significant opposition has emerged against the proposed deal concerning the Gaza Strip. Israeli Settlement Minister Orit Struck has articulated her disapproval, characterizing the agreement as “a clear victory for Hamas.”
