Zionist regime launches attacks in eastern and southern Lebanon, breaching ceasefire agreement
The zionist military has conducted a series of airstrikes targeting multiple locations in southern and eastern Lebanon, marking a notable breach of the existing ceasefire agreement with the Arab nation.

Israeli fighter jets conducted several airstrikes targeting the mountainous regions and specific sites within the Baalbek district in eastern Lebanon, as reported by Lebanon’s state-run National News Agency (NNA).
On Thursday at approximately 10:35 p.m. local time (2035 GMT), Israeli military aircraft conducted a series of airstrikes in the Iqlim al-Tuffah region of southern Lebanon.
Local sources report that Israeli airstrikes have hit the towns of Azzeh and Roumine, alongside a region near Wadi al-Zahrani.
In an escalation of regional tensions, Israeli fighter jets conducted airstrikes in the Bekaa Valley, located in eastern Lebanon near the Syrian border.
Ahead of the airstrikes, Israeli aircraft engaged in extensive low-altitude maneuvers over the town of Rashaya and the western Bekaa region.
In addition, aerial activities were reported over the city of Hermel and the northern Bekaa region in eastern Lebanon, as well as over the capital, Beirut, and its surrounding suburbs.
Israel agreed to a ceasefire with the Hezbollah resistance movement after sustaining significant losses over nearly 14 months of conflict, without reaching its objectives in the military campaign against Lebanon. The ceasefire agreement came into effect on November 27.
Since the implementation of the agreement, occupation forces have reportedly been engaging in almost daily assaults on Lebanon, allegedly breaching the ceasefire with airstrikes across the nation.
On January 10, Lebanon formally lodged a complaint with the United Nations Security Council, alleging violations by Israel against agricultural lands and livestock in the southern region of Lebanon. These actions, according to Lebanon, contravene the existing ceasefire agreement.
Hezbollah has urged the Lebanese government to take responsibility for facilitating the complete withdrawal of Israeli military forces from southern Lebanon.
On January 27, Lebanon announced the extension of a ceasefire agreement with Israel until February 18. This decision comes despite Israel’s failure to meet the troop withdrawal deadline and the resulting fatalities of nearly two dozen individuals in southern Lebanon.
